Work
New word: "Weisure" . I saw it in the Star Trib last night on the editorial page, written by Jim Shea for the Hartford Courant. What is it? He explains that weisure time is fitting fun around work, rather that fitting work around fun. Good or bad? I guess we have to all make that decision for ourselves. I for one would like to think that I work to live, not live to work, but that's just me.

Technology strikes again
Like the short video posted below...The world has most definitely changed. This weekend was a girls get away weekend. Seven of us headed up to Minnesota's newest resort and spa - Chase on the Lake in Walker, MN. Great place. Great fun. Great Spa. This time (we've been doing it for many years) there was something different. We of course kept track of each other via cell phones - but this time when we were discussing old movies, or some trivia that none of us could remember, the blackberries were whipped out and the answers were found on a variety of webs. (Yes, it was a race to see who could find it first.) Interesting how technology has impacted even our personal relationships - not to mention how the whole social media is impacting everything as well. We even solved the tipping problem with an E Z tip (cell phone) calculator. Life made easier! Watch for our soon to be published technology and resource guide.

Did You Know?
I was helping a co-worker with a technical issue earlier today, and we had to go to Google to find instructions for loading up a specific program and driver. As we were running the search, she mentioned in passing “What did people do before Google was invented.”
I thought of the “Did you Know?” video that people kept sending to me, and thought that I’d share it here. I’d be interested to know what you think of it.
