Fall in Minnesota. The Perfect Time of Year

Drove up a day early to Chase on the Lake in Walker, MN. I wanted to check out the bike ride trail.  (Optional activity on Sunday) I did. The Paul Bunyon and Heartland trails are spectacular. Two of my board members arrived a day early too. We'll have dinner together. I like it. I know we are all busy, crazy busy, but I always like to arrive a day early. (The MSAE long range planning session starts on Saturday at noon.) Sometimes, taking the extra time, getting a chance to relax and prepare and become familiar with the location can make the difference in how a meeting will play out.  The resort is unique - a great place for a retreat and a conference. Tomorrow when we embark on the journey to plan for the future of MSAE,  I'll be ready!
