- Goals
- Objectives
- Identify Your Audience(s)
- Know Your Key Message(s)
- What Channels Will You Be Using?
- What Are Your Tactics?
- Get a sense of your big picture and think strategically. Where is your organization going and how are you going to meet your members needs?
- Review your communications plan yearly, it will continually change.
- A communications plan helps keep a pulse on your members.
- Act instead of react in terms of goals, crisis and change.
- A plan gives you the ability to create reports or show changes at any point
